Sarah McMillan is an appraiser specializing in fine art. She has undergone extensive training through New York University's training in Appraisal Studies, is an associate member of the Appraisers Association of America, and prepares USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) compliant appraisals. 

She provides appraisals for estate taxes, charitable donation, insurance, and equitable distribution of assets. She also consults for clients who are downsizing and need to liquidate their assets, assisting in the sale and donation of their property, and managing a client's collection.

While she specializes in fine art, she has colleagues who specialize in furniture, decorative arts, jewelry, and vintage clothing, among other fields, and can assist in arranging appraisals for an extensive collections.

Fine Prints

With a masters degree from the Courtauld Institute of Art in Old Master prints and experience with selling prints from the 19th Century on, Sarah McMillan can assist with appraisal and sales of fine art prints from any period. 


With knowledge of 19th century sculpture and its later reproduction market, she can assist with bronzes in your collection. For anything outside her area of knowledge she has a group on resources and contacts to be in touch with. 


She has experience selling and vetting 19th Century, 20th Century and Contemporary paintings, and for any works outside her specialization she is in touch with contacts with specialized knowledge.
